A teenager was flown to hospital yesterday afternoon after being hit in the eye with drill bit.
The 18-year-old was using a power drill at Naike, west of Huntly, when the bit flew out and into his eye.
The Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance flew a doctor and an advanced St John paramedic to the scene before flying the teen to Waikato Hospital.
