When Nelson woman Joanna Martin was shopping online, she got to the part that called for delivery instructions and wrote: "Please leave on the back porch - and a picture of a dragon would be awesome".
The result? Her cupcake holders arrived in a brown box with a picture of a dragon on the side.
Ms Martin, said she couldn't believe it.
"My flatmate was home, she called me and said 'um your package from Briscoes is here and there's a dragon on the side of the box.' I let out a little squeal and said 'that is awesome'."
She had emailed Briscoes to express her gratitude but received an automated message back.
