A man was arrested today after a double stabbing in Taupo in the early hours of this morning.
Detective Steve Dunn of Taupo police said two men were stabbed on the lakefront about 4am. Their injuries were not life-threatening and both had since been discharged from Taupo Hospital.
A 28-year-old man appeared in Taupo District Court today charged with possession of an offensive weapon. He was remanded in custody without plea to reappear on Monday.
