Rugby World Cup organisers had a minor hiccup hours out from the opening of the tournament.
IRB chief executive Mike Miller was denied entry into Eden Park today, four and a half hours before the opening ceremony.
Witnesses said Miller wasn't allowed into the ground because he didn't have the correct accreditation.
Miller earlier tweeted about the atmosphere in Auckland as the city builds up to host its first Rugby World Cup game in 24 years.
"Beautiful sunny day here in Auckland. Atmosphere amazing in town. Off to Eden Park now to check things out. Five hours to Opening Ceremony."
Miller had no trouble witnessing the All Blacks' official welcome ceremony on Saturday, mingling with the 3000 strong crowd at Aotea Square.
"You can feel the warmth and the excitement, this is what the tournament is all about," he said.
