Dogs fail to find any trace of man

A hunt by cadaver search dogs has failed to find any trace of missing Aucklander Luke Mitchell.

Mr Mitchell, 37, from the suburb of Waterview, was last seen by his flatmate on June 5 and reported missing nearly three weeks later.

Police said one of his car registration plates, probably stolen, was found on a vehicle used in an aggravated robbery.
