Dog puts police on scent for P

A police operation in Rotorua may have uncovered a new recruit.

After a fruitless search at a Rotorua house, police officers noticed a dog digging near its kennel.

The dog pulled a container of P, or pure methamphetamine, from the hole.

The mongrel popped the container in his mouth and trotted to the police officers to present his evidence.
