A doctor was attacked in the grounds of Palmerston North Hospital on Saturday night, it was revealed today.
The doctor, who was off-duty at the time, was treated and discharged.
MidCentral District Health Board had increased security patrols in the grounds and police said they would have more details about the incident later today.
