KEY POINTS:
The results of a Spanish study which revealed more than 40 per cent of women regularly have trouble finding clothes that fit them could have far-reaching effects.
The Spanish Ministry of Health last week announced plans to shake-up the traditional clothes-sizing method and instead introduce labels based on shape.
As the scheme is phased in over the next two years garments will be labelled with bust, waist and hip measurements as well as an indication of height. The scheme's proponents hope it will enable all women to more easily find clothes that fit them.
