KEY POINTS:
A radio DJ is shaving her head for charity and attempting to get another 10,000 New Zealanders to go hairless by the end of the day.
Jay-Jay Feeney of The Edge radio station's Morning Madhouse will get the chop today from league star Monty Betham, a finalist on Dancing With the Stars, if listeners donate $10,000 to the cause.
This week marks the Leukaemia and Blood Foundation's Shave For a Cure week.
The foundation aims to get 10,000 people - the number of New Zealanders who have a form of blood cancer - to shave their heads by the end of today.
The Edge listeners voted for Feeney to have her head shaved. Anya Merryfield, fashion and beauty editor of the online magazine nzgirl, has also gone under the scissors this week.
