The search is continuing for a diver who failed to return from a trip to Titahi Bay last week.
Jinting Guo went out diving on Thursday October 19 and on Sunday night police were informed he had not come home. On Monday, a member of the public found diving equipment and a smartwatch on the shore of Tirau Bay.
Police are being assisted by Surf Life Saving to conduct shoreline searches between Onehunga Bay and Green Point yesterday.
The search effort continues today, with LandSar Wellington conducting land-based shoreline searches and police consulting with iwi ti lo locate him.
