Maori Land Court Deputy Chief Judge Wilson Isaac has ordered a meeting of people on both sides of a dispute over a proposed aquaculture project on the East Coast.
Some hapu members disagree with the retaining of the hatchery building on the Potaka Marae without permits.
"We are starting afresh and will be dealing with all the issues to find a way forward for Potaka Marae," Judge Isaac said at a hearing at Ruatoria.
An independent officer of the court will be appointed to chair the meeting scheduled for the end of this month.
Judge Isaac also overturned a court order that sacked marae trustees Kara Waenga and Hira Kururangi.
