Divers recovering car believed to be missing man's

Police divers are working to recover the car of a man who has been missing for several months from the Waikato River.

The Ford Falcon believed to be that of 48-year-old John Waka Graham was found submerged near Ngaruawahia at 6pm yesterday.

Huntly Senior Sergeant Pete Simpson says the car is registered to Mr Graham, who has been missing since September.

No more comment will be made until dive squads have salvaged the vehicle, he says.
