Divers have pulled the body of a man from a truck which went into the water at the South Port wharf at Bluff this afternoon.
Police were called to help about 1.30pm after the truck was seen going into the water.
Nearby coast guard staff and divers went to the wharf in a bid to help and found the truck submerged with the body of a man inside. Efforts are under way to get the truck out of the water. WorkSafe NZ has been told of the accident. Family of the man have been told of the fatal accident.
