Diver missing off West Coast

The Police National Dive Squad has been called in to help find a diver who has gone missing off the West Coast.

The 38-year-old man failed to surface from a dive at Hapuka Rock in Jackson Bay yesterday. Local boats and helicopters were involved in an initial search, but found nothing.

The missing man is from Dunedin.
