KEY POINTS:
The police dive squad have been called in to help with a search for a missing Warkworth teenager.
The 17-year-old was last seen cycling home from a party at 2am on Saturday morning and was reported missing by his mother in the morning.
Police found his bike by the side of the road near the Mahurangi River on State Highway One.
Sergeant Dene Duthie said a search and rescue team have been combing the banks of the river and the surrounding area.
"We believe there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the young man's disappearance but we are definitely concerned for his safety and his whereabouts," Mr Duthie said
