Eketahuna's history through fashion will be on display this week - with pieces from the Victorian era through to the 70s on show.
Eketahuna /Mellemskov Museum team leader Bridget Wellwood has organised a pop-up textiles exhibition, Tattered and Torn, Loved and Worn, in the old post office, opposite the Four Square.
She said it would include everything from Victorian bustle skirts to a range of 70s clothing, including menswear, which "tell the story of hard slog in Eketahuna".
She said the bulk of the collection had come from Eketahuna founding settler family, the Andersons.
"A lot of it was Nurse (Ellen Alice) Anderson's, who was a famous character in Eketahuna ... it's incredible to see how people have changed over the years, in terms of size if anything."
