KEY POINTS:
Disbarred Auckland lawyer Christopher Harder has withdrawn his application to be reinstated to the legal profession.
Harder was seeking to have his name reinstated on the legal roll at a hearing of the New Zealand Law Practitioners' Disciplinary Tribunal in Auckland today.
However, after two days of the hearing, which included legal submissions on what evidence could be heard at the hearing, Mr Harder withdrew his application.
Mr Harder was struck off two years ago after admitting professional misconduct.
Earlier this week he lost a legal challenge in the High Court on the admissibility of some evidence.
After today's hearing he said it was too soon to apply to be readmitted.
