Located in Havelock North in the heart of Hawke's Bay, Iona College is a state-integrated Decile 10 boarding and day school for girls from Years 7-13. The role of Director of Advancement is a new, full-time position designed for the purposes of driving fundraising, community relations, event management, communications and marketing within the College.
Reporting to the Principal, the Director of Advancement will have a direct link and close working relationship with the Iona College Foundation, Old Girls' Association and Parents and Friends Association.
Ideally, this diverse role would suit a person with experience in marketing and public relations. You will be an exceptional communicator with superior written and oral skills to enable you to promote Iona in a friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner.
Experience managing fundraising and capital campaigns is desirable.
As this position entails some website and database management a high degree of computer literacy skills is essential.
