Direct Christchurch to Rarotonga service

Rarotonga service South Islanders will be able to fly direct to the Cook Islands from Christchurch by the end of the year.

Air New Zealand says it will begin the direct service between Christchurch and Rarotonga on December 1.

The five-hour flight will be once a week on Wednesdays. Fares will start at $339, one way.
