The Malaysian diplomat who fled New Zealand will be sent back to face charges here as soon as next week.
Muhammad Rizalman bin Ismail was arrested on May 9 after allegedly following a 21-year-old Wellington woman home and attempting to rape her.
Today, official sources would not confirm or deny reports the diplomat would be sent back next week. Police said the extradition process was ongoing.
