Diesel spill closes SH1 lanes

Contractors are working to clear a large diesel spill in the Bay of Plenty.

State Highway One north of Tokoroa is reduced to one lane because of the spill, stretching along 4 kilometres of the busy arterial highway.

Police are urging motorists in the area to drive with extreme caution.
