In her last moments in the CTV building receptionist Dian Mary Falconer, 54, prayed. Knowing that made her loss a little easier to bear, daughter Tere-moana Wilson said.
Speaking from Italy, Mrs Wilson, 36, said co-worker Pip Lee, who was rescued from the rubble, had been in touch to tell them of her mother's bravery.
The pair were close enough to talk at her mother's end, Mrs Wilson said.
"She loved God. We're totally comforted in knowing that they were together and praying for about five or ten minutes and then mama passed away.
