KEY POINTS:
Junior doctors and district health boards return to the negotiating table this afternoon ahead of the threat of more strike action.
More than 2000 junior doctors have given notice of another strike on May 7 after walking off the job for two days last week in support of a pay rise of 10 per cent a year for the next three years.
The boards' spokesman David Meates told Radio New Zealand that this afternoon's discussions in Auckland would include how to move the pay talks forward, and planning for the next strike action.
