An appeal by a former chief inspector of the Rotorua CIB over his conviction and sentence for his handling of historic sex allegations by Louise Nicholas is due to be heard today in Wellington.
John Dewar was sentenced last October to 4 1/2 years in jail on charges of attempting to obstruct or defeat the course of justice.
