Devlin will be leeching on friends

Radio Sport breakfast host Martin Devlin has news for some unsuspecting friends - he will be joining them for New Year's Eve.

"At this stage they don't know I'm leeching myself on to them."

Whatever the night throws up, Devlin reckons there will not be much sleep involved.

"I would say it will be the biggest millennium I'll ever have."

When his partner finishes work early on New Year's Day, they will head to the east coast and watch the first sunrise of the year 2000.
