Lawyers for the wife of the leader of Destiny Church have filed proceedings at the High Court to get her name back on the list of candidates for president of the Maori Women's Welfare League.
Hannah Tamaki's name was not on voting papers sent out last week after she was earlier confirmed as one of eight candidates for the position.
Her lawyers filed proceedings in the High Court at Wellington today.
The case was tentatively set down for July 20.
She had said on her Facebook page her detractors believed her appearance was all wrong for the league.
"They say I'm too glamorous to lead the league. I don't have the right look."
