Volunteers from anti-supercity group Carterton Voice have set up a desk in the Carterton Events Centre to encourage submissions on the draft proposal.
From Monday, volunteers will be helping residents find information on the proposal, as well as handing out blank submission forms.
The desk will be open on weekdays from 1pm to 4pm until March 2, when submissions close.
Volunteer Hilary Capper said they will not be trying to influence people either way and will be showing residents how to access the Better Wairarapa website as well as the Carterton Voice and Local Government Commission website.
"A lot of people have their own position and they want to fill in a form. People need to be informed."
