Designer must pay for calling employee 'liar'

Auckland designer Keith Matheson has been ordered to pay $5000 to an employee he called a "liar" and told to "get out".

The Employment Relations Authority, in a reserved decision, found that Carolyn Olsen who had worked for Keith Matheson Ltd for four years, had been summarily dismissed and her dismissal was unjustified.
