Fashion designer Ana Macdonald has been left devastated after her car was stolen with her beloved pet dog inside.
Ms Macdonald parked at Albany Westfield while Christmas shopping just after 5pm yesterday and returned to find her loan car had been stolen. Inside was her 2-year-old black labrador-border collie cross Mana.
"I'm totally devastated," she said of having her dog stolen.
"We left the windows down fractionally, and I tested it with my hand, thinking they wouldn't approach a car with a dog in it anyway. There were plenty of people around.
"Someone must have seen something we're hoping."
