The man killed in a two-car crash on the Desert Road on Tuesday night has been named by police.
Palmerston North man Admad Aman, 29, died when his Toyota collided with an oncoming car on State Highway 1 at the Wakato Stream Bridge about 9.50pm on Tuesday.
The driver of the other car was taken to Wanganui Hospital with minor injuries but has since been released.
The Desert Road was closed until 3am.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and the death has been referred to the coroner.
