The Desert Road is expected to be blocked for several hours this morning after a truck has rolled.
Police said the driver suffered minor injuries in the crash, which was discovered about 1.40am.
The Desert Rd has been closed to allow the truck to be righted, which is expected to take four to five hours.
Central fire communications shift manager Chris Dalton said emergency services had been at the scene since 1.40am, and fire trucks from Waiouru and a command unit and support vehicle from Wanganui were still in attendance.
