KEY POINTS:
Police are looking for a depressed and anxious man missing from his Masterton home for nearly a fortnight.
His family have expressed concerns about his wellbeing.
Masterton police today launched an appeal for sightings of Brendon Gordon Eagle, 35, who has been missing from his home since Saturday, September 27.
He is European, of medium build, about 1.75m tall, and has short, dark hair.
He left his home driving a 2007 grey Mazda, registration ECD107.
Detective Sue Mackle, of Masterton CIB, said Mr Eagle's family had concerns for his well-being as he was suffering from depression and anxiety, and left home without his medication.
Ms Mackle said it was believed Mr Eagle had been in the Lower Hutt and Wellington area on the weekend he went missing.
"Mr Eagle had made a comment to a friend that he was considering buying a yacht but he's not known to be an experienced sailor," Ms Mackle said.
Anyone with information should contact Masterton police.
