KEY POINTS:
The depositions hearing of the case against a man accused of murdering a woman in her Napier home in January is expected to start at the end of September.
The date was set when Zion Brendan King, 46, made his latest appearance in Napier District Court today, charged with murdering neighbour Chattrice Carroll-Poipoi, also 46, who was found dead in her flat in Cottrell Crescent, Onekawa South, on January 21.
Defence counsel Tony Snell said it was estimated a week would be needed, and Judge Tony Adeane remanded King for the depositions starting on September 29.
King has not entered any plea and remains in custody.
