Traffic heading into Auckland on the Northwestern motorway is being delayed in the wake of a series of crashes involving five vehicles.
The NZ Transport Agency said at just before 5.45pm: "Lanes are now clear. Traffic is starting to move. Expect delays or avoid the area."
The crashes occurred just
before the Newton Rd offramp.
The police said there were minor injuries and three tow trucks were called.
