A car has struck a power pole in a south-bound lane on the Southern Motorway in Auckland.
Police said the crash happened south of the Redoubt Road off-ramp about 6am.
Police said it was not yet known whether the driver or passengers suffered injuries in the crash.
The crash was not blocking any lanes on the motorway, but police warned delays for motorists were likely to occur as a result.
