Commuters are still facing delays on Wellington trains a day after a major power fault.
Trains to the Hutt Valley, Wairarapa, Melling and Kapiti did not run between 4.30pm and 8pm on Tuesday due to the outage, which occurred just outside the Wellington Railway Station.
On Wednesday morning, Hutt Valley commuters were experiencing delays as long as 20-30 minutes, with Metlink reporting points faults as well as dealing with the issues from the night before.
Three services to Melling had been cancelled.
Metlink had earlier warned that some Wednesday morning services would run with one carriage, meaning as many as 200 seats less.
