The Courier Mail reported the picture was posted on Tostee's Facebook account this week, before the Gold Coast playboy removed public access to his page.
Tostee's bail conditions prohibit him from using a social media service to contact women.
Last month, Tostee used his account on bodybuilding.com to post more than 2000 words proclaiming his innocence.
Tostee and Wright met up on August 7 after making contact online.
A three-hour recording made by Tostee - who has admitted to often using his phone to record his evenings with women - will be used by police to claim Wright was in fear for her life when she tried to climb to the floor below.
But Tostee will use the same recording to show he locked the New Zealander outside to prevent her attacking him. On it, Tostee makes repeated requests for a slurring Wright to "calm down" and stop hitting him.
The full audio recording of the night that captured Wright's fall was leaked online in early December.
Wright, an animal rights advocate, was on the Gold Coast for a wedding, travelling from her home in Lower Hutt for a fortnight-long adventure with Australian friends.
The 26-year-old was only days away from boarding a plane home when she organised to meet Tostee through Tinder.
Meanwhile, Wright's mother Merzebeth Tagpuno posted pictures of herself with Rrie in a new Facebook entry this week.
Tagpuno, from Wellington, told friends it was a "sad New Year".
