The latest defence contingent to work on reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan will leave Christchurch tomorrow.
The team of 122 will replace the present New Zealand-led Provincial Reconstruction Team in Bamyan province.
Joint Forces NZ commander Major General Lou Gardiner said the NZ teams had helped the Afghan Government promote reconstruction and assess civil, political and military reform efforts.
