Decomposing body found in Auckland

A member of the public came across a body in Auckland's Orakei Reserve off Tamaki Drive this morning.

The body was found in a dense area of bush at Okahu Bay about 10.30am, a police spokeswoman said.

It has yet to be identified and a post-mortem would be carried out.

The body was decomposed, she said.
