Solicitor General David Collins QC will announce his decision on whether or not charges will be laid under the Terrorism Suppression Act this afternoon.
Twelve of the 16 arrested in the police raids had their cases referred to the Solicitor General on October 29.
So far 16 people have appeared in the Auckland District Court on firearms charges.
Police used the Terrorism Suppression Act to search people's homes last month when they allege that illegal firearms were found.
