KEY POINTS:
MPs have begun debating the Privileges Committee's findings on Winston Peters.
Committee chairman Simon Power has presented the evidence the committee heard to Parliament, with MPs now having the chance to debate it.
New Zealand First MP Peter Brown wanted the final vote on whether MPs support the committee's decision to be a made a personal vote instead of a party vote.
Speaker Margaret Wilson ruled against it, saying she had checked the matter with each party.
The man who brought the Privileges Committee complaint, ACT leader Rodney Hide, says Mr Peters will face his judgement soon enough at the ballot box.
He says that judgement will extend to Prime Minister Helen Clark, who he says has allowed Mr Peters to set the standard for her Government.
Mr Hide says he feels vindicated by the Privileges Committee majority decision against Mr Peters.
