KEY POINTS:
The death of a man whose body was found in school grounds in Auckland today is not being treated as suspicious.
Police said after a post mortem examination today that foul play had been ruled out.
The body, which is of a white man, was discovered in the grounds of Epsom Normal Primary School earlier today.
Police told TVNZ that builders found the body underneath a building and that the body was of a man in his late teens or early twenties.
PTA chairwoman Lynley Sheweiry said builders working at the school found the body.
She said it was fortunate it was school holidays and no children were around.
Inspector Matt Sillars earlier said police were investigating but the cause of death would not be known until the post mortem examination was completed.
The circumstances of the death would be released at this stage, he said.
