Death crash cyclist named

Police have named a 60-year-old cyclist killed in a road accident near Blenheim in the early hours of Thursday morning.

John Mayers, of Blenheim, was struck by a minibus on State Highway 1, near Grovetown about 12.30am.

Police said he had been cycling in dark clothing and without any visible lighting.
