Hutt Valley police are investigating the death of a woman in her late 30s after her body was found at her Upper Hutt home last night.
Police were called to an Edbentown Street address about 10.15 last night after family members went to the woman's home and discovered her body, Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Thornton said.
A scene examination was being conducted today.
"Given we are in the very early stages of this investigation, we are unable to provide any further information but hope to be in a position to do so later today.''
