Police are investigating a homicide in Auckland tonight, where a woman has been found dead in a home.
Police were called to the address on Cambridge Terrace, Papatoetoe around 7pm tonight, inspector Jason Hewett said.
He confirmed a male, who was present at the scene, was taken into custody as a suspect and that it was a homicide investigation.
Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident at this point in time, he said.
