A man died yesterday when the truck he was driving rolled down a hill and trapped him.
Taupo police said the man, who was a contract driver, had been spreading fertiliser on a farm when the truck he was driving rolled down a hill.
He was flung from the vehicle and pinned underneath it by his leg.
The accident happened around midday but the man was not found until 9pm, not breathing and trapped.
He had been working on a farm on Poihipi Road near Taupo.
