It was not a good day at the office for Wairarapa teams contesting Capital Football competition matches on Saturday.
In division two, Douglas Villa lost to Victoria University Gossies 7-3. In division three, Gardner Electrical Masterton lost to Lower Hutt City 3-1 and in division four, Wairarapa United seconds lost to Lower Hutt City Ancient Ones 4-1.
Wairarapa United's premier side, which leads the Central League series by four points, had a rest day, drawing the bye in the first round of Chatham Cup elimination games. They are the defending champions in the nationwide competition.
