Where in the world is David Bain?
Since leaving New Zealand two weeks ago he has seen the sights of Italy and Greece and has now arrived in the UK.
An ex-pat spotted Bain riding a tour bus in London on Wednesday.
"I was standing at some traffic lights next to London Bridge and one of those open-air red double-decker sightseeing buses was stopped at the lights," he said.
"Old Baino was sitting on the top floor. He had a cap on and was looking at a sightseeing book, but you couldn't miss such a recognisable mug and ears."
Bain's second cousin Michael Mayson said Bain was sending lots of photos to friends and family. "He's having a great time and that's how it should be."
Supporter Joe Karam was also in contact with Bain but would not say what he was doing.
Meanwhile, supporters and critics of David Bain are inundating the Minister of Justice with letters arguing why or why not the former Dunedin man should receive compensation for his time behind bars. Bain spent 13 years in prison for the 1993 murder of five family members and was judged not guilty of the murders at a retrial at the Christchurch High Court in June.
