Samoa's Parliament has confirmed a plan to switch to the other side of the international dateline.
Under Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi's plan, Samoa will skip Friday, December 30, and move straight to Saturday, December 31.
The Prime Minister said the change would help business with Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
