Champion kickboxer Paul Kingi will face a third trial on October 16 for the alleged killing of his uncle.
Kingi, also formerly New Zealand's strongest man, was convicted in April 2004 of the manslaughter of Rangiwananga Kingi following a fight at Dannevirke and sentenced to two-and-half years jail.
He successfully appealed the conviction and a second trial was held in March this year, which ended with a hung jury.
